I like the intro, reminds me of one of Def Leppard's song. The song has a basic feel good drive to it. Great Rock N' Roll production. These guys know how to write some great Rock n' Roll songs and some great ballads. There is nothing I can say that I haven't already said about these guys.
If you're into some basic feel good Rock n' Roll, then you have come to the right place. I Love the lead guitar
drive throughout the song, especially towards the end when the drummer kicks in double time that complimets the song so well. Tasty riffs, Jeff Beck probably couldn't do it better. I love the vocals on this one where the main vocal and backing vocals just compliment each other so well. And lastly but not least the bass just provides a great bottom end with emphasis on drive. This just adds up to some great Rock n' Roll.
Switchblade Kiss has out done themselves this time and is going to be one tough act to follow. I am hearing a signature sound that they can truly call there own and be proud of. Kudos guys and keep it coming. This song sounds absolutely great loud, which means the recording engineer has done his or her homework. Sometimes recording engineers are just silent partners that you never hear about, they get very little credit, but they are the ones that can make the difference between garage band and world class. You never hear about them, but hear there production all the time. I think this engineer deserves a standing ovation. If there is one thing I would like to see change at Epictunes is for the engineer, both mix and master, be given credit for there work, list their names along with the artists. Even if it is one of the band's members.
Switchbalde Kiss, your hard work and passion is really showing and coming to life. I would love to see you guys get a record deal that you just can't refuse. I think the world is ready for a new Rock n' Roll sound that these guys provide. They are a real Rock Force to be dealt with and as original as it gets.
